Kejriwal, Mann visit Manish Sisodia's house

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann had visited Manish Sisodia’s house in Delhi after the arrest.

"Manish ji's wife is suffering from a serious illness -- multiple sclerosis. In this disease, the brain's control over the body gradually decreases. Manishji's son studies abroad. She is alone now. I told her that Manish ji is a brave person and every Indian is proud of Manishji," the Delhi chief minister said.

AAP to protest against Sisodia's arrest

The AAP has announced that it will demonstrate protests against Sisodia’s arrest. AAP's national General Secretary Sandeep Pathak on Monday took to Twitter to announce the protest will take place in several cities including Delhi, Gujarat’s Gandhinagar, Haryana’s Rohtak and Noida.

"The great Education Minister Manish Sisodia, who has shaped the future of lakhs of children of the country, has been arrested in a fake case. Against this, the Aam Aadmi Party will protest across the country tomorrow."

Manish Sisodia had earlier claimed that fake cases are being lodged against AAP because Prime Minister Narendra Modi is afraid of AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal's rising popularity.
