MP Weather Update: The forecast for September 3 has been given by the India Meteorological Department. IMD predicts that today could bring significant rainfall to Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. In addition, today is likely to bring severe rain to remote areas of West Bengal and Odisha. The Meteorological Department reports that the rainy season will last in both of these states until September 6.

Rainfall Outlook for Central and Western India

According to the IMD projection, there is a good chance that isolated areas in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will experience severe rainfall on September 7th. Rain is also a possibility in Vidarbha from September 5 to 7. The Meteorological Department predicts that Maharashtra could get light to heavy rainfall from September 3 to September 7. During this time, lightning is also a possibility.
