CPI MLA Suryakant Paswan Blames BJP Leaders For Viral Obscene Clip

Tension is rising in Bihar’s Begusarai after two obscene videos of CPI MLA Suryakant Paswan went viral on Facebook. The videos (posted from separate accounts) triggered major controversy online and offline.

Breaking his silence, Paswan addressed the media and denied the authenticity of the clips. He said, “My video is edited.” He accused BJP leaders and a local police officer of plotting against him. He linked the video’s release to his recent demand for a probe against Bakhri DSP Kundan Kumar over liquor smuggling charges.

Is CPI MLA Suryakant Paswan Being Framed Via Fake Edited Video?

Paswan claimed he had earlier complained to the DGP, alleging the DSP was protecting liquor mafias in the region. Following his complaint, the DGP ordered an inquiry by the DIG of Begusarai-Khagaria range. Paswan believes this triggered the retaliation.

He alleged, “The DSP was angered by the inquiry and decided to take revenge.” He said the video was deliberately edited and circulated to damage his image, with support from BJP leaders. Paswan also accused a young BJP leader of acting as a broker for the DSP and helping in the liquor racket.

High-Level Probe Demanded Into Video And Liquor Racket

Paswan further alleged that the DSP staged a liquor seizure involving 135 cartons and a pickup truck. He claimed that neither the liquor nor the vehicle was officially recovered, and the goods were allegedly sold off. He said three Tiger Mobile officers were falsely blamed and jailed to cover up the real links.

Calling it a clear setup, the MLA demanded a thorough investigation into the DSP’s mobile records and CCTV footage at his residence. He said, “This is all part of a setup to save the real culprits and destroy my public image.”

CPI Begusarai district secretary Awadhesh Kumar Rai supported Paswan’s claims. He urged authorities to conduct a high-level probe into the DSP’s alleged ties with the liquor mafia and his role in spreading the video.

The controversy has sparked sharp political reactions, with many demanding accountability and answers from the top brass.
