Navratri 2022: Also known as Shardiya Navratri, the festival began yesterday. People are enthusiastic and zealous as they celebrate the nine-day Navratri celebration across the nation. Each day is devoted to one of Goddess Durga’s nine holy avatars.

After worshipping Maa Shailputri on Day 1, worshippers do the devotion of Maa Brahmacharini on the second day. Let’s take a look at the Maa Brahmacharini Puja Vidhi, Shubh Muhurat, Mantra, and Aarti.

Navratri 2022 Day 2

Goddess Parvati was born at the residence of Daksha Prajapati. Parvati, the goddess, was a great Sati in that form. Goddess Brahmacharini is the name given to her unmarried form. Lord Mangal (Mars), who is regarded as the source of all good fortune, is believed to be under the command of Goddess Brahmacharini.

Goddess Brahmacharini underwent great penance in order to get married to Lord Shiva. She is referred to as Brahmacharini because of the austerity she practised.

Navratri 2022 Day 2 Muhurat

On September 27, the second day of Navratri will be commemorated. The Shubh Muhurat will begin from 03:08 AM and last until 02:28 on September 28th.

Navratri 2022 Day 2 Pooja Vidhi

Beginning with the day, the worshippers should get up the early and take a bath before performing puja on the second day. For the puja, dress in clean, fresh clothing. Apply teeka to the idol of Maa Brahmacharini ‘s forehead after dipping it in honey and milk. While performing the puja, offer rice, milk, rice curd, flowers, and sandalwood to the Goddess. Use hibiscus and white lotus while performing the pooja. For bhog, offer the sweets made with Desi Ghee and Sugar.

Navratri 2022 Day 2 Colour

Red is the colour related to the second day of Navratri. The colour of the Chunni denoted to the Goddess is Red, which stands for love and passion. The colour gives wearer the vitality and positive energy.
