Increasing Corona cases have once again started to frighten the whole of Maharashtra. The number of cases is increasing due to the frequent receipt of infected patients. In Maharashtra, where the lockdown has been imposed in Nagpur, the duration of the night curfew has been extended in Pune and Amravati. Meanwhile, on Monday, the Maharashtra government has released a new guideline for the prevention of corona. It states that all multiplexes, restaurants and hotels will have to be opened with a capacity of only 50 per cent. Apart from this, more staff will have to be deployed in all malls to get people to wear masks and follow social distancing.
In the new guidelines, the Maharashtra government has extended all restrictions imposed in the Containment Zone till 31 March. It is made mandatory to wear masks, check temperature and sanitize hands in all restaurants, hotels and cinema halls. Apart from this, the number of guests in wedding ceremonies has also been fixed. Weddings may not include more than 50 guests. At the same time, all social, cultural, political and religious ceremonies have been banned completely. According to the guideline, no more than 20 people will be allowed to attend the final ceremony.
According to the order issued on Monday, all cinema halls, hotels and restaurants are to operate at 50 percent capacity. Also, no one should be allowed entry without a mask. It will be mandatory to have sanitizer and thermal scanner at the entry point.
The Maharashtra government has made it mandatory to wear masks in all shopping malls. Also, no one can enter without doing a temperature check at the entry gate. It will be the responsibility of shopping malls to follow the guidelines of Corona in the restaurants and theaters there.
