Union Home Minister on Wednesday evening took to Twitter to warn against the external forces that are trying to divide India's integrity. He joined a host of renowned figures including Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar among others as he asked Indians to stand united against propaganda that threatens sovereignty.
"No propaganda can deter India's unity! No propaganda can stop India to attain new heights! Propaganda can not decide India's fate only 'Progress' can. India stands united and together to achieve progress," Mr Shah tweeted as he shared the official statement released by Ministry of External Affairs warning of vested interest groups trying to mobilise international support against India.
On Wednesday, a slew of India's prominent figures took to Twitter to join 'India Against Propaganda' movement, warning the countrymen of external forces that are posing as a threat to India's integrity.
The aforementioned statements came after foreign celebs including Rihanna, Greta Thunberg, Lilly Singh and Mia Khalifa among others' statement who raised eyebrows over India's ongoing farmers' protest.
