On June 17, UP Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh went to Jewar airport to see how things were going and talk to officials from YIAPL, Tata Projects, and NIAL about the facilities for the runway, terminal, cargo, and water treatment. He said that the airport is a top priority for the state and that the government would help in any way it could. Singh stressed that the project would give tons of business and job opportunities to young people in the area.
Investments in manufacturing and industry
With a promise of 6,000 crore, Amber Enterprises will build a big electronics factory near the airport. This factory will make PCBs, toys, and consumer electronics. Making this investment is a big step toward changing UP's economy for the better.
It is being built by YEIDA in Sector 10, which is close to the airport. It will cost ₹450 crore. The hub is on 206 acres and has the well-known Havells building, which cost ₹800 crore. It is planned to make 31,000 jobs by January 2028, with 11,000 direct jobs and 20,000 indirect jobs.
Infrastructure and customer service get better.
Because more people are traveling for business and pleasure, the Noida Authority has given the go-ahead for five- and seven-star hotels to be built near the airport. As part of the state's Electronics Manufacturing Policy, changes to infrastructure have been made to make power transmission stronger, redevelop housing projects, and give industrial plots names.
Smart Business Growth
An e-auction of 40 industrial plots with sizes ranging from 450 to 8,000 square meters was just announced by GNIDA. Many of these plots are carefully put next to the airport along freight routes. With these plots, investors might be able to get ₹800 crore, and about 10,000 jobs could be created.
The Bigger Picture
The Jewar–Noida corridor is being worked on to become a world-class business hub. The goal is to have manufacturing hubs, hospitality hubs, and industrial zones all work together to achieve this. Analysts believe that big investments and faster infrastructure rollouts will make the area a lot more job- and business-friendly.
