Noida Traffic Police to start seizing 1,19,000 cars

Noida Traffic Police is going to take a big step regarding the old vehicles. Noida Traffic Police will seize those vehicles whose registration has expired. The RTO has also issued notices to the owners of about 1.19 lakh old vehicles. The registration of these vehicles is ending from Wednesday. This includes 15 year old petrol and 10 year old diesel vehicles.

According to the news published in Times Drive, out of 1.19 lakh vehicles, 23 vehicles belong to Collector Office, Police Commissioner Office, District Commissioner Office, Trade Tax Commissioner, Family Welfare Department and Surveillance Medical Officer. It is said that the target of RTO is mainly vehicles starting with ‘Z’ or UP16 Z number.

All these vehicles are 15 years old. On Wednesday, whatever vehicle of this number is seen on the road, the traffic police will seize it. The owners of these 1.19 lakh vehicles will either have to scrap these vehicles or take necessary permission to take them to other cities.

An invoice of 20 thousand rupees was cut

Significantly, in January, challans were issued in New Delhi for banning old vehicles. Invoices were cut on a large scale on vehicles running on BS-3 petrol and BS-4 diesel. One person had actually told on social media that he was challaned Rs 20,000 for driving a BS-III petrol vehicle. However, this ban was lifted on 12 January.
