Outcomes of 5th Regional Dialogue on Afghanistan in Moscow

One of the most important outcomes of the 5th Regional Dialogue on Afghanistan in Moscow, which the Indian NSA presided over, was agreement among all participating national security advisors on how to combat the threat of terrorism coming from the Af-Pak region. While India has made it clear that it will do everything in its power to support Kabul in establishing an inclusive and representative government for the benefit of Afghan society, the participants also agreed to share actual intelligence on terrorist organisations like the Islamic State of Khorasan Province, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and Lashkar-e-Taiba, both of which have their headquarters in Pakistan. It was determined to deny asylum or shelter to any terrorist organisations or individuals listed by the 1267 UNSC committee.
