Operation Ajay: Fourth Flight Brings Back 274 Stranded Indians from Israel

India conducts "Operation Ajay" to return 274 of its people to India from Israel amid escalating tensions.

Operation Ajay: The fourth flight bringing 274 Indian nationals from Israel has landed at Delhi airport as part of “Operation Ajay.” Early on Sunday morning, EAM S Jaishankar announced on social media platform X (previously Twitter) that a fourth flight with 274 Indians on board had departed from Israel for India. He stated that this was the second flight to leave Israel for India in a single day.

Second Flight Departs from Tel Aviv, Aiding Stranded Indians Amid Conflict

“#OperationAjay 2nd flight of the day departs from Tel Aviv carrying 274 passengers,” Jaishankar posted on X. In response to blatant attacks by Hamas militants on Israeli towns, India started “Operation Ajay” to aid individuals who seek to return home. Indian enterprises are receiving aid from the Indian embassy in Israel, which has also established a helpline for Indian citizens in need of assistance.

MEA’s 24-Hour Control Room Monitors Crisis as Second ‘Operation Ajay’ Flight Lands in Delhi

A 24-hour control room had also been established by MEA in light of the growing hostility. The control room will assist in keeping an eye on the situation and in providing data and support. The second flight, which had travelled from Tel Aviv in Israel, arrived in Delhi on Saturday morning with 235 Indian passengers on board. The first flight, which had 212 Indian passengers on board, had arrived in Delhi on Friday.
