Pakistani soldiers crossing the LoC killed by Indian Army

Pakistan army has had to face the consequences of its audacity to cross the Line of Control. A Pakistani soldier crossing the LoC in the Keran sector of Kupwara was gunned down by alert Indian soldiers. Major General AS Pandharkar (GOC 28 Infantry Division) said that this infiltration attempt is in complete violation of the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan in February 2021. He said, Pakistan infamous Border Action Team (BAT) showed audacity to cross the LoC in an ambush on Saturday night in Keran sector. But the Indian Army personnel, ready for the nefarious antics of Pakistan, acted immediately and killed a terrorist (Pakistani citizen).

A senior army officer said that the deceased has been identified as Mohammad Shabbir Malik, who could be part of Pakistan’s BAT team.
Pandharkar said that the infiltration attempt was detected at an early stage itself. After this an encounter took place and the intruder was killed. A dead body was recovered from there. Along with this, AK rifle, ammunition and seven hand grenades have also been found. Search operation is also going on in the entire area.

The Major General said that our Anti-Infiltration Obstacle System detected this infiltration, which is also known as the fence. The army has also recovered the government ID card from that dead soldier.

He said that this shows that Pakistan is continuously promoting cross-border infiltration. The Pakistan Army has been contacted through a hotline. They have been asked to take away the body of the slain soldier. However, what has been the reaction from the Pakistani army, it is not known yet.
