Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday called Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, asking him to ensure best possible medical care for ailing Kalyan Singh. The Prime Minister also talked to Singh’s son Rajveer on Monday and enquired about the health of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister.
“Prime Minister PM Narendra Modi called former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh’s son Rajveer to inquire about his health. He also called up Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to ensure that best possible medical care is made available to the former UP Chief Minister,” ANI quotes sources as saying.
Singh, unwell for past few weeks, was shifted to Sanjay Gandhi Post graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) on Sunday evening after his health deteriorated. He was previously admitted he Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS), where he was in ICU since Saturday.
According to a statement released by PGI on Sunday, Singh’s blood pressure and pulse rate are normal but he’s not conscious. Keeping in mind his many ailments, he has kept in ICU, the statement added.
Before being shifted to SGPGIMS on Sunday, the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister was visited by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and his deputy Keshav Maurya at RMLIMS.
