PM Modi emphasises on the teachings of Lord Buddha at Global Buddhist Summit in New Delhi

PM Modi: On Thursday in New Delhi, at the opening of the Global Buddhist Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasised the wonderful teachings of the Buddha. ‘Over the years, countless people have been influenced by the great teachings of Gautama Buddha. India is launching new efforts for the wellbeing of the world, as inspired by the teachings of Lord Buddha,’ according to PM Modi.

Lord Buddha is the main inspiration-PM Modi

He declared that the ‘Buddha is a consciousness beyond the image, a consciousness beyond the person, a consciousness beyond the thought, and a consciousness that is eternal and constant.’ PM Modi declared, ‘This thought is eternal, this understanding is immovable.’ PM Modi added that Lord Buddha is the main inspiration for how India is progressing on its “Amrit Kaal” path to becoming a developed nation.

The future will indeed be magnificent-PM Modi

According to PM Modi, India has consistently propagated the teachings of Lord Buddha. ‘Pariyakti, Patipatti, and Pativedha is the Buddha’s way. is short for Theory, Practise, and Realisation. India has advanced significantly on all three of these fronts over the past nine years,’ he claimed. The 75th anniversary of India’s independence and the “Amrit Mahotsav” celebrations coincide with the two-day Global Buddhist Summit. The Prime Minister emphasised that “the future will indeed be magnificent” when many people come together with a vision for a brighter future.

All of mankind in one thread-PM Modi

‘India has achieved firsts in a wide range of fields, and it credits Lord Buddha with much of this inspiration. This is the continuation of Lord Buddha, who binds all of mankind in one thread,’ Modi said, adding that ‘people from diverse nations and different geographical and cultural backgrounds are gathered together with one another today.’

PM explained how India was crucial in developing the Buddha Circuit

‘We made the Buddha Circuit better in Nepal and India. India is making a holistic effort in this area,’ PM Modi stated, ‘whether it is at the Kushinagar International Airport or in Lumbini, where the India International Centre for Buddhist Culture is being created.’ ‘Be it peace missions in different parts of the world or a calamity like an earthquake in Turkey,’ Prime Minister Modi remarked in reference to the Turkish earthquake. “India stands with humanity in times of every crisis, with ‘Mum Bhav,’ by putting its full potential.”
