He said, “I attribute my consistency to you because of the schemes you have launched- TOPS, Khelo India among others. It is because of you that we have been able to win 29 medals. For others, PM stands for Prime Minister, but for us, PM stands for Param Mitra.”
PM Modi’s Light-Hearted Moment with Javelin Star Navdeep
Another unforgettable moment from the gathering was the interaction between PM Modi and javelin ace Navdeep. The atmosphere became jovial when PM Modi asked about Navdeep’s viral celebration video from the Paris Olympics. This question sparked laughter among the attendees and made the evening even more enjoyable. Navdeep added a personal touch by offering his cap to PM Modi. He also requested the Prime Minister to autograph his left arm—the one he uses to throw the javelin. With a smile, PM Modi signed Navdeep’s arm and playfully noted that they share a common trait: both are left-handed.
