Via video conferencing Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a key review meeting on the development plan of Ayodhya; CM Yogi Adityanath along with two deputies and other top officials was also present in the virtual meeting.
During the virtual meet, CM Yogi presented a future vision of Ayodhya’s development to PM Modi, according to sources.
The future vision of development includes modernisation, roads, infrastructure, railway station, airport and other several pending projects.
Meanwhile, PM Modi described Ayodhya as a city “etched in the cultural consciousness of every Indian” and said that it should manifest the finest traditions and best developmental transformations.
PM added that the way Lord Ram had ability to bring people together, development works of Ayodhya should be guided by spirit of healthy public participation; called for skills of youth to be leveraged in this development”: Sources from Ayodhya Development plan meet.
Commenting on review meeting head priest of the makeshift Ram temple Acharya Satyendra Das said: “It is a good thing. Until PM and CM of Uttar Pradesh will not associate with it, the development works will not be seen at the ground.”
However, this comes in the backdrop of the controversy wherein several Opposition parties have levelled allegations against the Shriram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust of corruption in the purchase of land for the Ram temple.
