Political Storm Erupts in Madhya Pradesh, Arun Yadav’s Divisive Remark about PM Modi’s Father Sparks Uproar

PM Modi: Prior to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit, a political uproar broke out in Madhya Pradesh, a state that is close to holding elections, after a congressman made a divisive comment about the prime minister’s father. Speaking on the visit of the prime minister, prominent Congressman and former minister Arun Yadav remarked, “Even the prime minister’s father may come to the state. Since the Congress would be in power in Madhya Pradesh, we have no objections.”

Chief Minister Slams Congress, Calls it a Reflection of ‘Congress Culture

In a statement to the media,’ Arun Yadav stated, ‘We have no problems.’ The comment was referred to as “Congress culture” by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who attacked the Congress. “Today, Congress lawmaker Arun Yadav’s offensive comments on the late prime minister’s father serve as a symbol of his level-less attitude. Shivraj Singh Chouhan stated that this “Congress culture” was their store of love.

Chief Minister Accuses Congress of Crude Rhetoric in Response

‘Modi ji is the nation’s pride and the people’s self-respect. When the Congress found itself unable to directly compete with the country’s popular and effective prime minister, it turned to crude and indecent rhetoric,’ the chief minister said. Arun Yadav had crossed party lines, according to Shivraj Singh, and Madhya Pradesh was ashamed of his remarks. He asserted that the state’s citizens would respond to Congress’ annoyance. On June 27, PM Modi is expected to travel to Bhopal.
