Rahul Gandhi: My grandmother was also called Gungi Gudia in response to propaganda that refers to him as “pappu”

Rahul Gandhi responds to media on the propaganda which refers to him as Pappu and says that even his grandmother was called gungi gudia

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has responded to those who refer to him as “Pappu.” He claimed that he did not mind such things; they are a part of the propaganda effort. He claimed that it reveals what is on those people’s hearts. Their hearts are filled with fear. They are angry and depressed. Rahul Gandhi also acknowledged his grandmother, former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, in an interview. Before being referred to as the Iron Lady, he claimed that even Indira Gandhi was referred to as “Gungi Gudiya.” He also stated that people who call him names day and night, would call his grand mother dumb doll, before she unexpectedly rose to fame as the iron lady.

Rahul Gandhi says he is unconcerned by propaganda because his grandmother overcame all odds and became known as the “Iron Lady”

Added Rahul Gandhi: “I accept everybody, regardless of their name. I enjoy it. Please use my name as often as you can.” Rahul Gandhi was in Mumbai for the Bharat Jodo Yatra when this interview with him was conducted. Added Rahul Gandhi: “I have no worries at all. Whatever you want to call me, feel free. I don’t even think about that.” Rahul Gandhi stated in the interview about Indira Gandhi, “Before she was referred to as the Iron Lady, she was known as Gungi Gudiya. She used to be called a dumb doll by the same individuals who attacked me in the past. Then all of a sudden, that stupid doll was an Iron Lady.”

Rahul Gandhi claimed that Indira Gandhi was his second mother and the love of his life. Do You Aspire To Be Like Your Grandmother? Rahul Gandhi commented on this, “This is a fascinating query. I aspire to be like my mother and grandmother in every way.” Significantly, the Bharat Jodo Yatra of Rahul Gandhi, which began in Tamil Nadu, has now arrived in Delhi. After a break on December 24, this “Yatra” will resume on January 3. This journey will now travel across a portion of UP before travelling via Haryana, Punjab, to arrive in Jammu & Kashmir.
