Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav took strict action against the TTE who urinated on a woman in the Akal Takht Express going from Kolkata to Amritsar. They have fired TTE from the job. Ticket Examiner (TTE) Munna Kumar was arrested by Government Railway Police (GRP) Charbagh on Monday (March 13) for urinating on a female passenger on train number 12317. She was going to Amritsar from Kiul in Bihar with her husband.
What is the matter?
Inspector Navratna Gautam of GRP Lucknow said that a passenger named Rajesh complained that he and his wife were going from Kiul to Amritsar on seat number 31 and 32 of A1 Akal Takht Express. According to the complainant, a person named Munna Kumar urinated on his wife's head at around 12.30 pm.
What did the railway police say?
Navratna Gautam told that Munna Kumar is a resident of Begusarai in Bihar. He is TT in Railway and posted in Saharanpur. Munna was not posted in Akal Takht Express. He told that whether he was intoxicated or not, investigation is being done. Gautam said that the complaint of the whole matter was made to GRP Charbagh Lucknow (GRP).
After this, accused Munna Kumar was arrested from platform number 4/5 of Charbagh railway station. Munna is also a resident of Begusarai in Bihar and is working as TT of Railway in Saharanpur, but he was not posted on duty in this train. It is alleged that he was under the influence of alcohol. Munna was on leave during the journey.
