Restrictions On International Flights Extended Till March 31

The restrictions on international passenger flights due to the corona virus pandemic have been extended until 31 March. On Friday, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has given this information in a statement. The DGCA said in the statement, “The Competent Authority has extended the validity of the circular issued on the subject of scheduled international passenger flights to or from India by March 31, 2021”.

This restriction will not apply to approvals flights from International Cargo Operations and DGCA. Simultaneously, DGCA stated that “However, international scheduled flights may be permitted on a case-to-case basis on select routes from the competent authority”.

There is a continuous increase in new cases of corona across the country. In the last 24 hours, there have been 16,488 new cases of corona across the country, whereas 113 people have died during this period. At the same time, 12771 people have also recovered from Corona. More than eight thousand cases of corona virus infection were reported in Maharashtra for the third consecutive day on Friday and 48 more patients died due to the epidemic.
