Rs 50,000 crore projects to be unveiled by PM Modi over the course of 4 state tour

PM Modi: From July 7 to 8 PM Modi will tour the states of Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, and Rajasthan to roll out big infrastructural projects across different sectors. PM Modi will unveil projects of highway, railway and power plants worth 50,000 crore rupees. The two day hectic trip will commence with visit to Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh on July 7 which would be followed by visit to Telangana and Rajasthan on July 8. The information was released by PMO in a press statement.

New national highways in Chhattisgarh

The Prime Minister is scheduled to participate in an event in Raipur to promote infrastructural development projects. A total of five National Highway projects worth approximately Rs. 6,400 crores would be inaugurated in Chhattisgarh. These highways will facilitate both the tourism industry and the transportation industrial goods such as coal, iron ore, and finished steel products. These highways will enhance inter-state connectivity with other major states. Additionally, As part of the Chhattisgarh section of the 6-lane Greenfield Raipur – Visakhapatnam corridor, PM Modi will also lay foundation stone for three National Highway projects.

The 103 km long Raipur – Khariar Road Rail Line which has been doubled at the cost of Rs. 750 Crores is also set for inauguration by PM Modi.

Vande Bharat and visit to Varanasi

PM Modi will attend the closing ceremony of the centenary celebrations of Gita Press. At Gorakhpur he will unveil Vande Bharat train connecting Gorakhpur to Lucknow. He will also lay foundation stone of the Gorakhpur Railway Station redevelopment.

In visit to his home constituency of Varanasi will inaugurate the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Junction- Son Nagar railway line of Dedicated Freight Corridor. PM will also open the Varanasi-Jaunpur patch of NH-56 Varanasi-Lucknow expressway. During his visit PM Modi will also distribute allotments under various centra schemes. It includes loans of PMSVANidhi , keys of PMAY Rural houses and Ayushman cards to the beneficiaries in the state. He will also lay foundation stone for the redevelopment of Manikarnika and Harishchandra Ghats. The coast of tese projects wil be around 12,100 crore rupees.

On July, the PM will also set foundation for several roads and railway infrastructure development projects worth around Rs 6,100 crores in Warangal, Telangana.

Big boon for Rajasthan

In Bikaner, PM Modi will dedicate development projects worth over Rs 24,300 crore in order to enhance the infrastructure and ease of living. Among the projects a six-lane greenfield expressway section of the Amritsar – Jamnagar Economic Corridor with extent of 500 kms in Rajasthan will be unveiled by the Prime Minister. The project aims to enhance connectivity that would be beneficial to both industrial and tourism sectors.  The cost of project is around Rs. 11,125 crore and will reduce travel time and improve connectivity between major cities of the region. PM Modi is also set to unveil  Jodhpur – Ahmedabad (Sabarmati) Vande Bharat express train.

The most ambitious Inter-State Transmission Line for Green Energy Corridor aimed at mitigating necessary power supply will be built with cost of Rs. 10,950 Crore. PM Modi will also roll out  redevelopment of Bikaner Railway station estimating to cost around 450 crore rupees.
