RSS Mourns as Madan Das Devi Passes Away, PM Modi Pays Touching Tribute

Madan Das Devi: Madan Das Devi, a senior member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, has died. He passed away in a Bangalore hospital at the age of 81 after a protracted illness. PM Narendra Modi expressed his condolences on Madan Das Devi’s passing and recalled his interactions with her. PM Modi tweeted an homage to the man. “Extremely saddened by the death of Madan Das Devi ji,” the prime minister wrote. ‘He committed his entire life to serving the country. I not only shared a close relationship with him but also frequently benefited from his wisdom. May God comfort all the employees and their families during this difficult time. Nam Shanti!’ he added.

Madan Das Devi’s Longstanding Contributions to RSS and BJP Coordination

Madan Das Devi, the present Sarsanghchalak, was a senior worker compared to Madan Das Devi, an RSS pracharak for almost six decades. He spent a lot of time managing the cooperation between the BJP and the Sangh. After he became unwell, this duty was given to Suresh Soni and later Krishna Gopal. Coordination with the BJP is currently handled by Arun Kumar, a co-sarkaryavah of the RSS. Madan Das Devi also had co-sir Karyavah responsibilities for the RSS. Madan Das Devi, who originated from the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, had a solid grip on the student organisation and had trained thousands of volunteers.

Madan Das Devi’s Influence Across States and Close Ties with PM Modi

Known for inspiring an entire generation of campaigners, Madan Das Devi. He had good penetration among the workforce in various states, including UP, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal, and Madhya Pradesh, as a result of his extensive job experience. He was also thought to be close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The BJP and the RSS were coordinated by Madan Das Devi while Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the prime minister. Madan Das Devi missed a lot of time working for the RSS due to sickness.
