Shrasti Raghuwanshi, sister of murder victim Raja Raghuwanshi, has responded to online trolls who claim she is using her brother’s death to gain followers. Her emotional Instagram videos have gone viral, drawing both support and criticism. While some accuse her of chasing clout, Shrasti says she's simply seeking justice.
In a video that’s now widely shared, Shrasti stated, “Aaj jo bhi log yeh bol rahe hain ki mere bhai ki maut ko followers use mein badha rahi hoon, toh aisa kuch bhi nahi hai.” She says the attention her posts are receiving is helping keep the case alive, and that’s what matters.
Is Srashti Trying To Gain Followers In The Name Of Awareness On Raja Raghuwanshi Murder Case?
Ever since the case came to light, Shrasti has been posting regularly on Instagram. Her content ranges from wedding videos to heart-wrenching appeals for justice. Many users praised her courage, but others accused her of using the tragedy for fame.
In a sharp response, she said, “Agar main post nahi karti, woh post viral nahi hoti, toh shayad mere bhai ke katilon ka aaj pata nahi chalta.”
Shrasti added that had the family remained quiet, the case might have been shut in a few days. She vowed to raise her voice no matter how far she needs to go, even if it means taking on the government.
She said, “Mujhse jo ban padega main woh karoongi mere bhai ke liye… jahan tak jaana hoga meri awaaz main wahan tak pahunchaoongi.”
On facing online abuse across Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, Shrasti said. “Aap log kya kar rahe ho mere bhai ke liye?”
While the hate came in strong, so did the support. Under a post by user Priya Singh accusing her of making “dozens of reels,” many jumped to Shrasti’s defence.
One user wrote, “She is doing her best… instead of supporting her as a female, you’re mocking her. Shame on you.”
Another commented, “Vo ladki apne bhai ke liye insaaf mang rahi hai… koi dance nahi kar rahi.”
A third said, “Had it not been for social media, the culprits would still be roaming free.”
