In February 2014, a Delhi court sentenced three men to death after finding them guilty of raping and killing a 19-year-old woman in 2012.

On August 26, 2014, the Delhi High Court confirmed the death penalty, stating that the defendants were “predators” roaming the streets and “searching for prey.”

Three males, Ravi Kumar, Rahul, and Vinod, were found guilty of several offences including rape, kidnapping and murder.

The investigation began in February 2012, when the body of a 19-year-old woman was discovered in Haryana. After being raped, the girl was brutally murdered.

At the Chhawala (Najafgarh) police station in outside Delhi, a case was opened in relation to this.
