Tamil Nadu government has extended the lockdown in the state till 31 March

The Tamil Nadu government has extended the lockdown in the state till 31 March due to the corona virus. The administration has been directed to take strict action against those who violate the Corona rules.

Police and municipal officials have been directed to ensure that the regulations in Containment Zones are strictly followed. Corona rules include applying facial masks in public places, adhering to social distancing, etc. At the same time, international travel is also banned in the state. However, the DGCA banned international flights till 31 March on Saturday.

In Tamil Nadu, 479 new cases of infection with the corona virus were reported, while three patients died. The total number of infected people in Tamil Nadu has increased to 8.51 lakhs, while the number of dead has increased to 12,496.

There will be many restrictions under the lockdown in Tamil Nadu. Here in the government as well as private office, work will be allowed in the presence of less people. Along with this, the same rules will also be there for shops and industry in the market. Protocols have been issued for this.
