The Tamil Nadu government has released a new guideline regarding the lockdown in the state. According to this, there will be many new restrictions in the state from 26 April.

According to the new guidelines, all religious places will be closed from April 26. Apart from this, beauty parlors, salons, spas, barber shops will be closed from 26 April. At the same time, only parcels / takeaways can be allowed in hotels, restaurants and tea shops.

All the places of worship will be closed to the public from 26 April.According to the guidelines, wedding ceremonies can be held with a maximum of 50 people, while 25 people will be allowed to attend the funeral.

Travelers from all other states except Puducherry will have to apply for an e-pass through the government portal, and only if allowed, they will be allowed to come to the state.In Tamil Nadu, till Friday, 10.51 lakh people have been found infected with the corona virus, out of which 95,048 people are still undergoing treatment. There have been 13,776 new cases of infection in the state .

In a new record high, India reported the highest daily surge in the world with over 3.46 lakh Covid infections, which takes the country’s caseload to 1.66 crore.

The country also saw the deadliest day of the pandemic with 2,624 deaths.
