4. Indian Navy’s IFC-IOR ties up with Seychelles center to counter non-traditional maritime security threats

Indian Navy’s Information Fusion Centre for Indian Ocean Region (IFC-IOR) located in Gurugram signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Regional Coordination Operations Centre (RCOC), Seychelles to develop common maritime understanding to counter non-traditional maritime security threats such as privacy and armed robbery, human and contraband trafficking, Illegal Unregulated and Unreported (IUU) fishing, arms running, poaching , maritime terrorism with special focus on western Indian Ocean.
