Arfath’s Parents Receive Disturbing Call

Last month, Arfath’s parents claimed to have received a call asking for a lakh rupee ransom to ensure their son’s safety. The 25-year-old was allegedly abducted by a caller who threatened to sell his kidney if the ransom wasn’t paid. According to a story by The Hindu, Arfath’s father, Mohammed Saleem, claimed he got a call demanding $1200 in ransom to free his son, but the kidnappers did not clarify how to make the money.

Arfath’s Attire Revealed by US Investigators

Arfath was last spotted, according to US investigators, sporting a red jacket, blue pants, and a white T-shirt. Arfath adds his name to a sombre list of Indian students and Americans of Indian descent who have passed away inexplicably. The Indian diaspora in the US is concerned about these deaths. Mohammed Abdul Arfath’s passing is the eleventh attack targeting Indian students in 2024 alone, and the second within a week.
