Unemployment: ‘fight’ to become peon and sweeper in MP, graduates and post-graduates also stand in queue

After Gwalior, a fair was organized for unemployed people to become gardener, pune, watchman, driver and sweeper in Shivpuri, Ujjain district court of Madhya Pradesh. Here too thousands of youths reached for 10-12 posts. The educational qualification was 10th pass, but graduate-post-graduate were also engaged in the line.

Meanwhile, the government has said that it will celebrate Employment Day every month.

In Shivpuri court, 6008 applicants arrived for 20 posts of class IV, in which graduate-post graduates were also queuing. The applicants argued that it is better to become a peon than to be unemployed.

Deepak Jatav in the line is a graduate, has also done ITI. It is said that the qualification was 8th pass but I do not think that I will get the job because the competition is very much.

At the same time, Shivam said that if unemployment was not so much, then there would not have been a crowd, no vacancy has come out in MP since 2017.

In Ujjain court also 9500 applicants came for 25 posts of class IV, for posts like gardener, peon, and driver, unemployed reached Ujjain from Delhi also.

Ananda Padmavat Mehta, the court manager present there, said, “22 peons, 3 posts are of drivers, the same recruitment is going on. 9500 applications have come, 8 boards have been made, 3 boards in police line, 5 boards in district court premises.”

The total number of unemployed in the employment registration offices of Madhya Pradesh is 32,57,136. It will take about 20 years to give jobs to just so many unemployed.

This unemployment is when only more than 1 lakh government posts are vacant, 15,24,222 applications were received for street vendor scheme in the self-employed government, 2,25,159 applications were rejected, 99,121 are waiting for signatures. There are 82,000 highly educated youth.

In the meeting of the General Administration Department on Monday, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has again said that all the backlog posts, start their recruitment, the recruitment should be done continuously every year.
