Union Railways Minister unveils new look of Vande Bharat Express trains.

Chennai: The new orange and dark grey look of Vande Bharat Express was unveiled at Integral Coach Factory in Chennai. Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw paid a visit to the factory and did inspection of Vande Bharat Express trains assembly line. The Railways Minster told the media that at least 25 improvements have been made to Vande Bharat trains till now. He further told the media that the Ministry is integrating all the inputs that they have received from frontline workers.

Heritage Specials

The Union ministers also said a new Heritage Special trains will be launched and that will pass through all heritage sites. These trains will be manufactured with the help of Steam engine. The new Heritage Specials will go through long heritage route trial before being inaugurated for public service.

New Discounted price

The Railways Ministry has announced that prices of executive classes and the AC chairs will be lashed by 25 per cent in the near future, including the Vande Bharats. Minister Vaishnaw also reviewed the Chennai Central Station and said that the discounted prices have been a continuous feature for the past several years and it is not something new.
