Vande Bharat Express: The much-anticipated Dumka-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express train is set to commence operations from September 15, offering a major boost to connectivity in the region. The train will significantly cut down travel time, reaching Ranchi from Dumka in just four hours. Unlike other trains, this Vande Bharat Express will not have general bogies, and the tickets are expected to be priced higher than those of conventional trains.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially flag off the Dumka-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express, along with the Baidyanath Dham-Kashi Vishwanath Vande Bharat Express, on the same day. The inauguration ceremony will take place in Jamshedpur, and the trains will be flagged off from Jamshedpur to Tatanagar.

Faster Travel and Limited Stops

The Dumka-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express will pass through key stations including Godda, Basukinath, Deoghar, Madhupur, New Giridih, Jamua, Rajdhanwar, Koderma, Barhi, and Hazaribagh. However, the timetable for the train is yet to be finalized, as the official notification has not been issued. Despite this, railway officials have confirmed the train's faster travel route, covering the distance between Dumka and Ranchi in just four hours.

No General Bogie, Premium Pricing

Passengers should note that the Dumka-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express will not feature general bogies, and the ticket prices are expected to be higher than other trains due to the superior services offered. The exact fare structure will be revealed once the timetable is released.

Baidyanath Dham-Kashi Vishwanath Vande Bharat Express

In addition to the Dumka-Ranchi route, the Baidyanath Dham-Kashi Vishwanath Vande Bharat Express will also start from September 15. This train will depart from Baidyanath Dham station at 3:15 PM and reach Varanasi at 10:20 PM, passing through key stations like Jasidih, Jhajha, Nawada, Gaya, and Deendayal Upadhyay Junction. The return journey will start from Varanasi at 6:20 AM, arriving at Baidyanath Dham at 1:30 PM.

The new train service will provide devotees traveling to religious sites like Baba Baidyanath in Deoghar, Vishnupad Temple in Gaya, and Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi with a faster and more convenient travel option.
