Vande Bharat: On Saturday, Vande Bharat Express encountered operational challenges for the third time in a row. Now, on Saturday, a jammed wheel emerged on one of the rakes of the train travelling to Varanasi.
Between Dankaur and Wair stations, the C8 coach's traction motor experienced a bearing issue. According to a statement, North Central Railway's Varanasi Vande Bharat rake (Train No. 22436) failed between Dankaur and Wair stations as a result of a bearing fault in the C8 coach's traction motor.

As per the sources, the train from Delhi to Varanasi was stopped after the ground crew discovered the problem and contacted the railway operations centre. The train was then driven at a limited speed for an additional 20 kilometres to Khurja railway station following the examination by the onboard technical experts.
At the station, the Vande Bharat Express passengers were transferred to the Shatabdi Express. After the rake is returned to the maintenance depot, a thorough investigation into the malfunction will be conducted.
