Vijay Wadettiwar: A senior Maharashtra Congress functionary has remarked that the firing on United States President Donald Trump was inevitable given his arrogant style of governance.
Comments By Vijay Wadettiwar
Vijay Wadettiwar drew a parallel with India and remarked that the mood in India is quite identical. The five-time Congress MLA remarked that the decisions by the US President had damaged the United States and said India is no different today. Wadettiwar did not name anyone but it’s obvious that he was probably giving a reference to the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
U-Turn By Vijay Wadettiwar
Interestingly, Vijay Wadettiwar also commented that the firing on the US President was unfortunate and it should not have happened to anyone holding the top office. Wadettiwar however said that public response usually reflects the leadership’s nature.
Response By BJP
BJP leader CR Kesavan commented that the prejudiced hate of the Indian Congress Party for Narendra Modi has dangerously decayed into an anti-India mindset and sheer hate for India.
DON'T MISS
Kesavan added that Wadettiwar’s alarming statement justifying the shooting incident on President Trump and insinuating that something like that should happen in India with Prime Minister Narendra Modi is most shocking, wild and condemnable.
Kesavan went on to add that it was the same Vijay Wadettiwar who had previously given a clean chit to terrorists in Pakistan in the 26-11 attacks, saying that Hemant Karkare ji was not killed by the dreaded terrorist Ajmal Kasab from the terror state Pakistan that is notorious for its anti-India stance. The BJP leader went on to remark that the top leadership and the first family of the Congress party, whether it’s Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi, continue to be mute spectators. Kesavan added that the INC with this D-based, divisive and polarising culture and mindset continues to be the greatest threat to India’s unity.
