Weather Update: The two most important holidays for our people are Holi and Ramadan, thus everyone is thrilled about the celebrations taking place in our nation. Holika Dahan, also known as Choti Holi, is observed on Sunday, March 24, in accordance with the Hindu calendar. Although the IMD predicts that the winds this Holika Dahan and Holi may be stronger than usual, the temperature will still rise as a result. The hills will be the only places to get rain and showers. March 24th may bring scattered rains to some parts of North Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning, however, stating that northwest India's maximum temperature will increase by two to three degrees Celsius.

In the following days, rain is expected in the hill states, or it may go with the cloud in the sky according to the Meteorological Department (IMD). The list also includes Dehradun and Ranchi. Two fresh western disturbances are predicted to make the weather worse. Additionally, it might rain in many spots during the course of the night. In such a case, Delhi can get rain the day before Holi. IMD projects sporadic to Light to moderate rainfall over a fair portion of the region, maybe accompanied by isolated thunderstorms and lightning over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. It is quite probable that there may be isolated instances of heavy rainfall or snowfall in Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Sikkim, and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, as well as Assam and Meghalaya. A few isolated thunderstorms and mild to moderate rainfall are expected, along with the possibility of lightning over Sikkim and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, and Jharkhand.
