Weather Update April 24 2026: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the Northeastern states of Manipur, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Nagaland and Tripura are likely to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall. Several parts of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha are also likely to experience moderate to slightly heavy rainfall.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Delhi NCR and Madhya Pradesh are likely to witness scorching heat throughout the day.

Weather Update April 24 2026-Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan Weather Update
Ganganagar, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu and Hanumangarh and Jodhpur are likely to witness heat wave conditions. Betul Bazar, Aron, Badnawar, Baihar, Baldeogarh, Barghat, Maihar, Multai, Porsa and Rahatgarh are also likely to experience similar weather conditions.
Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir And Himachal Pradesh Weather Update
Gurez, Uri, Sopore, Anantnag, Handwara, Bandipora, Kishtwar, Bhaderwah, Doda and Poonch are expected to receive moderate to light rainfall. There may be a possibility of rainfall in Purola, Barkot, Joshimath, Ukhimath, Tanakpur, Sitarganj, Dwarahat and Vikasnagar.
Jogindernagar, Palampur, Baijnath, Chamba, Dalhousie, Nahan, Roh, Karsog, Sundernagar, Tissa, Sarkaghat and Ghumarwin may experience bone-chilling cold at some places. Overall, the weather throughout the day is expected to be pleasant.
