Weather Update: Amidst dry spell in North India including Delhi, UP, Punjab, and Haryana, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts heavy rainfall in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, North Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. Rain and thunderstorms are expected to be widespread in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. Fairly widespread instances of rain and thunderstorms are possible in Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.
There is a chance of isolated to scattered rain and thunderstorms occurring in Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Maharashtra, Goa, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Lakshadweep. However, other parts of India are likely to remain dry.
Delhi
As per the latest weather update, no change is anticipated in Delhi, which is projected to remain sunny the entire day. No relief from humidity and warmness is also forecast in the coming days. For today, the maximum temperature will be 37 degrees while the minimum will be 28 degrees with humidity at 43%.
Mumbai
Mumbai is predicted to remain sunny as well, however, there will be a partial cloud cover in the evening. The weather will remain similar until the weekend. Today’s maximum temperature will be 32 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 79%.
Chennai
IMD has forecast that Chennai will mostly experience a clear sky. However, some periodic cloud cover is likely in the morning. Rains will lash the region once again from tomorrow. Today’s maximum temperature will be 33 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 74%.
Kolkata
A mostly cloudy sky has been forecast for Kolkata. Though there are very low chances of rain the entire day. Today’s maximum temperature will be 35 degrees while the minimum will be 28 degrees with humidity at 65%.
