Weather Update: The temperature in North and Central India has begun to steadily decrease as a result of the chilly winds coming from the Himalayan highlands. The country's plains are now experiencing more cold. Both throughout the day and night, the temperature has decreased. While, morning fog is also causing several problem to the commuters.

Many areas of the nation are expected to experience a dramatic dip in temperature during the next few days, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands could see light to moderate rain. The air quality index for Delhi and the NCR will remain in the very poor category and is not anticipated to improve.

Delhi

As per the latest weather update, Delhi is predicted to be mostly sunny. While, the morning fog will continue to impact the city. However, the constant dip in temperature has made the winters arrive more sooner than people expected it to be. The maximum temperature for today will be 26 degrees while the minimum will be 12 degrees.

Mumbai

The city and its suburbs are likely to experience a sunny and bright day. The hazy affect is likely to be reduced from tomorrow. Also, there are no chances of rain impacting the city. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees while the minimum will be 23 degrees.

Chennai

Though the weather is predicted to be mostly clear throughout the day, however rains are likely to interfere and cause problems for natives. Similar weather pattern is likely to continue for a couple of days more. The temperature will range between 30 - 36 degrees.

Kolkata

As per IMD, Kolkata would be sunny and bright with no chances of cloud covering the city. Also, there will be no change in weather conditions for a week more, so the natives can brace themselves for a pleasant weekend. For today, the maximum temperature will be 29 degrees while the minimum will be 17 degrees.

Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe are likely to be lashed by the isolated rainfall with thunderstorms. IMD also predicts scattered showers in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and Lakshadweep.
