Joe Root: During a training session here at Pindi Stadium prior to the first Test against Pakistan, England players made a new friend on the field.
Joe Root and other English players can be seen giving milk to a cat in a cup in a social media video that is now viral. He approached the adorable kitten as his teammates watched, amid rumours that Root might captain the team if regular captain Ben Stokes does not recover from the viral infection.
Root gave milk from the dressing room to the kitten that came to meet them during the training. This also showed the world charming and kind behaviour. England's official fan group, The Barmy Army, posted the video on social media.
