Weather Update: Orange Rain Alert in Delhi; Check Conditions in Ranchi, Dehradun and Lucknow

Weather Update: IMD has issued an orange alert for Delhi on Sunday, predicting cloudy skies, moderate to heavy rain, and thundershowers. The Indian Meteorological Department reports that in the Delhi NCR, a number of large-scale monsoonal weather systems have produced favourable circumstances for mesoscale convective activity. Ahmedabad is predicted to have a "yellow alert" by the IMD. Additionally the city is suggested with the possibility of strong rainfall. According to the India Meteorological Department's (IMD) most recent forecast for Mumbai, the city will see mainly cloudy skies interspersed with periods of moderate to heavy rain. Furthermore, there are forecasts for light to moderate rainfall in some areas of Uttar Pradesh, including Lucknow.

Mumbai is expected to have a high temperature of 33 degrees Celsius and a low temperature of 25 degrees Celsius. In Delhi, the lowest temperature could drop to 25 degrees Celsius, with the maximum temperature predicted to be about 32 degrees.

According to IMD, Arunachal Pradesh is expected to see heavy to extremely heavy rains, with some areas likely to see really severe falls. The IMD predicts that there will be likely isolated areas of heavy to extremely heavy rainfall in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, and Meghalaya. However the same is predicted for Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Goa, Maharashtra. In Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Lakshadweep, substantial rainfall is expected in isolated areas according to the IMD.

As per the IMD , Dehradun and Ranchi will have cloudy sky with the possibility of moderate rainfall.
