Weather Update: Many areas of India are experiencing an increase in the cold, including the nation's capital Delhi, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. Wednesday's morning will be chilly and gloomy in North India. For the next two days, the Meteorological Department has issued orange and red alerts for fog and cold in Delhi, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh.

IMD states that for the next 4 to 5 days, there is no chance of a substantial shift in the lowest temperature over northern India. Different regions of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and North Rajasthan will continue to experience cold wave conditions. Fog can be seen everywhere in the parks and on the roadways in numerous locations in the morning. There is still roughly 150–200 metres of visibility in Delhi due to the fog.

Delhi

The national capital is likely to remain sunny after the morning, however, the effect of fog will be majorly seen throughout the region including Noida and Ghaziabad. For today, the maximum temperature will be 23 degrees while the minimum will be 8 degrees.

Mumbai

No significant change is predicted for Mumbai. The city and its suburbs will experience a much more pleasant and calmer day than previous ones. The temperature will range in between 33 degrees to 23 degrees.

Chennai

As per IMD, the weather will remain mostly cloudy and some parts would see isolated rainfalls. Also, as the weekend closes by, the chances of rain will increase further. For today, the maximum temperature will be 29 degrees and minimum will be 24 degrees.

Kolkata

Pleasant weather to continue its string in Kolkata, despite big changes happening in other parts of the country. Also, clouds will continue to show somewhat prominence throughout the day. For today, the maximum temperature will be 27 degrees and minimum will be 16 degrees.

Very dense fog is forecast around Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Himachal Pradesh early in the morning. Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Kerala and Mahe are predicted to be lashed by isolated rains, however.
