Weather Update: A low-pressure area has formed over the southeastern Bay of Bengal and meteorological forecasts suggest that it may intensify into a depression by May 9. This weather system, originating in the region, has the potential to bring significant changes in atmospheric conditions and precipitation patterns. Thus, rainfall is projected over the region of West Bengal & Odisha.
Weather activities in northwest India, encompassing Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and West Uttar Pradesh, will be minimal and almost nonexistent from today onward for the next three days. However, there will still be some weather activity in the mountains due to a weak Western Disturbance affecting the Western Himalayas and nearby regions. Temperatures are expected to increase by approximately three to four degrees over the next few days. Following that, a weak system may bring isolated rainfall to certain areas of Rajasthan, Haryana, and Punjab on May 13 and 14.

Chennai
Based on the most recent weather update, Chennai is expected to experience predominantly sunny conditions. However, there may be scattered clouds moving across the city during the evening. The humidity level is predicted to reach 82%, with a maximum temperature of 34 degrees and a minimum temperature of 28 degrees.
Kolkata is forecasted to have predominantly sunny and clear weather today. The humidity is expected to remain at 71%. However, the maximum temperature will reach 40 degrees, while the minimum temperature will be 29 degrees.
