According to IMD, there is a high likelihood of dense fog conditions occurring in the morning hours on February 8, 2024, over Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, and Tripura on February 8 and 9, and over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on February 8. On February 8, 2024, there is a high probability of light to moderate scattered to moderately widespread rainfall or snowfall across Arunachal Pradesh, as well as isolated rainfall throughout Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur & Tripura. There is a high probability of isolated pockets of cold wave conditions over Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Delhi NCR . There is a high probability of isolated pockets of frost over Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
