Weather Update: Heavy rain may cause destruction in These States, IMD alert

Weather Update: Many states, including the UP, MP, Kerala, and Odisha, are experiencing flooding. For the next few days, there will be heavy rain in many South Indian districts, according to the Meteorological Department (IMD). In the IMD alert, it is expected to rain heavily in many South Indian districts, including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka.

The IMD predicts that West Bengal and North East India may experience heavy rain over the coming next four days. In its bulletin, the Meteorological Department noted that normal or above-normal rainfall is possible in many parts of India during this month of September. With the exception of many regions in Northeast India and a few others in East and Northwest India, there is a chance of less rain than normal.

Heavy Rain may occur for next 4 days in These States

There is a possibility of widespread rain and thundershowers over coastal and northern Karnataka from September 2 to 5. For the next 4 days, there could be heavy rain in Lakshadweep, Rayalaseema, South Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. For the next 3 days, rain is predicted in Uttar Pradesh and the Western Himalayan region. Normal rainfall is expected in Uttarakhand till September 1-2, and heavy rainfall is expected in various areas of Uttarakhand on September 4. Rain may fall in Himachal Pradesh on September 4-5. On September 4, there may be rain and lightning in Jammu and Kashmir. In a similarly, extremely heavy rain has been forecast for the next 48 to 72 hours in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya. In Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and heavy rain.

Weather in Delhi

Delhi is experiencing humid conditions consistently. The entire month of August was dry-dry with sporadic rains because of the dormant Western Disturbance. Now, according to meteorologists, Delhi’s weather could change starting on Sunday. For the next three days, light rain is predicted. The next 24 hours will be partly cloudy, according to the weather update agency, while Delhi’s maximum temperature will be 38 and minimum temperature will be 27 degrees Celsius. The monsoon trough will move toward North India. As a result, there may be nonstop rain for a few days from Jammu to East Uttar Pradesh. From Sunday, the weather in Delhi and the NCR may change, and light rain may fall in many locations.
