Weather Update: The Meteorological Department reports that an alert for light to heavy rain has been issued for several Indian states as of right now. As to the IMD forecast, the southern region of the country, encompassing Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, and Kerala, is predicted to have hot and humid weather over the next two days. The IMD predicts that there might be a little bit of rain or snow today in a few isolated areas in Himachal Pradesh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and Zanzibar. The department states that beginning on March 10, a new round of western disturbances is expected to affect the Himalayan region.

The capital has been experiencing strong winds for the past few days, which has caused the morning and evening temperatures to drop once more. Nonetheless, the capital will feel warm throughout the next two days, according to the Meteorological Department. The Meteorological Department's forecast indicates that Monday and Tuesday will bring spectacular sunshine to the capital. Over the next seven days, Arunachal Pradesh is expected to see isolated to scattered mild to moderate rainfall or snowfall, according to the IMD. There's a good chance of isolated, light rain in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. Over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Mustafabad, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand on the 10th and 12th, there is a high probability of isolated to scattered light or moderate rainfall or snowfall, followed by fairly widespread to widespread light or moderate rainfall or snowfall with a subsequent decrease in distribution and intensity.
