Weather Update: Heavy rains eye over Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh; North India wakes up to foggy morning

Weather Update: The northeast monsoon is starting to make its way toward the Bay of Bengal, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Over the southwest parts of the Bay, a new cyclonic circulation has developed. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu is predicted to receive heavy rainfall with thunderstorms. Resultantly, eight districts have also announced closure of schools.

This week, Andhra Pradesh will have strong winds and precipitation thanks to the cooperation of above mentioned two weather phenomena.

The IMD has consequently issued a yellow notice for Andhra Pradesh from Monday through Friday (October 31 to November 4), advising locals to stay up to mark on the weather.

Delhi

Though, the national capital region is predicted not to receive any rainfall in the upcoming days. However, the cold-ish weather has already started to begin with foggy mornings. Not to miss, fog is also embedded with the smoke, indicating low quality of air.

Mumbai

As per the latest weather update, the city and its suburbs are expected to have a partially cloudy sky today. Meanwhile, there is no prediction of rains in the city for a few days.

Chennai

As already mentioned about Tamil Nadu, the city will receive heavy rainfall with thunderstorms. The same weather pattern is expected to continue for a few days. Thus, an advisory has already been issued by the government to stay safe.

Which state to recieve rainfall today?

Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, South Interior Karnataka, Mahe and Kerala are expected to be lashed by heavy rains. Meanwhile, fairly widespread rains with thunderstorms are likely to happen in Odisha, Telangana, and Puducherry.

In the early morning, central and north India will experience densely foggy morning.
