Weather Update: The latest IMD update for the nationwide weather forecast is out now. The update states that there is a likelihood of heavy rainfall in specific areas across Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, and Bihar due to intense rainfall. Additionally, heavy rain may occur in various regions, including Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, East Uttar Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh.
Widespread rainfall and thunderstorms are expected in multiple locations, including the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, and Bihar.
Fairly widespread rainfall and thunderstorms are anticipated in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Coastal Karnataka, and Lakshadweep. Isolated to scattered showers with a possibility of lightning are predicted in Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Interior Karnataka, Kerala, and Mahe.
Delhi
The weather in the national capital, Delhi, is expected to remain unchanged. Sunny conditions will persist, with no expected cloud cover or rainfall. The maximum temperature for today is forecasted to reach 34 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to be 21 degrees Celsius, with a humidity level of 47%.
Mumbai
Mumbai and its suburbs are expected to experience cloudy conditions throughout the day, with only a very slight possibility of rain or drizzles. Today, the maximum temperature is projected to reach 31 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is anticipated to be 26 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels at 76%.
Chennai
IMD has predicted Chennai to remain partially cloudy the entire day. For today, the maximum temperature is predicted to reach 35 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to be 27 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels at 60%.
Kolkata
As per the latest weather update, Kolkata is predicted to receive moderate rainfall the entire day. For today, the maximum temperature is predicted to reach 29 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to be 25 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels at 88%.
