Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a cautionary advisory regarding the substantial to extremely intense rainfall across numerous states on Monday, September 3rd. As per the forecast, regions including the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana should anticipate significant to exceptionally heavy rainfall on Monday.
Substantial rainfall alerts have been issued for Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Goa, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, and Karnataka. The IMD has also declared an orange alert for various areas within Telangana on Monday. There is a probability of isolated to scattered rain and thunderstorms occurring in Ladakh, Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Jharkhand, Arunachal Pradesh, and Assam.
Delhi

Mumbai
Mumbai and its suburbs will remain engulfed in clouds by noon. However, it will be all sunny and bright after that. This week can witness rainfall again from Wednesday. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 77%.
Chennai
As per the latest weather update, Chennai will remain mostly cloudy until the afternoon. The sky would witness some pleasant experience from thereon, but the rains will once again take on the city from early night. For today, the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 71%.
Kolkata
Kolkata will continue with its rainfall streak as no respite is projected as of now for the entire week either. Thunderstorms and mostly cloudy sky will continue to engulf the city. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 93%.
