Patna News: Government Hospitals in the city will now receive Healthy Food from the ‘Didi ki Rasoi’ initiative being run by the ‘Jeevika Workers’ . All the patients in the Government Hospitals will get nutritious and healthy food as directed by the Dieticians in the Hospitals. After receiving a massive response from the initiative the government has decided to introduce the scheme in more Government hospitals so that the patients can get the benefit of the scheme. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister will inaugurate the facility in 8 more Government run hospitals.
67 Health Care Centers have the Facility of ‘Didi ki Rasoi’
The 8 hospitals which will receive the facility are Bhagwan Mahavir Institute of Medical Sciences-PawaPuri, Jannayak Karpoori Thakur Medical College and Hospital-Madhepura along with four Sub divisional Hospitals. Currently 67 health care centers have the facility of the ‘Didi ki Rasoi’ scheme. According to the ‘Jeevika Workers’ Spokesperson, the patients receive meals thrice a day and snacks in the evening.
More Hospitals will have the scheme soon
The scheme received positive response in the hospitals and with the help of the scheme patients from the poor background are also able to receive healthy meals in their diets. The administration is planning to expand the scheme in more hospitals of the state.
