Weather Update: Rains will continue to lash several regions across India, as per the latest update provided by the IMD. Isolated regions in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim could experience intense rainfall, while heavy precipitation is anticipated in areas of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, and Bihar.
Widespread rain and thunderstorms are likely across Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, and Bihar. Odisha and Bihar are expected to see fairly widespread rain and thunderstorms.
Isolated to scattered showers with possible lightning strikes are in the forecast for East Madhya Pradesh, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, and Lakshadweep.
Delhi
The national capital will continue to remain sunny. IMD has predicted that these conditions will continue for several days. However, the mornings will now start to turn cooler. For today, the maximum temperature will be 36 degrees while the minimum will be 22 degrees with humidity at 43%.
Mumbai
As per the latest weather update, Mumbai and its suburbs are anticipated to remain mostly cloudy. There will be slight drizzles as well. For today, the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 73%.
Chennai
IMD has predicted Chennai to remain mostly clear. However, there will be patches of partial cloud cover in the entire day. For today, the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 67%.
Kolkata
Scattered thunderstorms are anticipated in Kolkata. There will be patches of sunny sky during the afternoon. For today, the maximum temperature will be 30 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 94%.
