Weather Update: The Meteorological Department has forecasted sporadic light to moderate rain or snowfall in Gilgit-Baltistan, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh for March 10. For four days, rain and snow are expected in various areas of Himachal Pradesh. On March 10, several high mountain locations may continue to have unfavourable weather, according to the Meteorological Centre Shimla. Northern regions including Delhi and Dehradun are likely to have dark clouds. In certain locations during this time, a yellow notice for thunderstorms and lightning has also been issued. In numerous Uttarakhand districts, dry weather is expected, according to IMD. Remarkably, more than 360 roads, including three national highways, are closed in Himachal Pradesh as a result of the continuous snow and rain that has been falling for the past few days.

The Meteorological Department predicts widespread light to moderate rainfall or snowfall on the 10th and isolated to scattered light to moderate rainfall or snowfall over Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, and Himachal Pradesh. Lightning and an isolated thunderstorm are also possible over the area. Very probable, there will be sporadic to fairly widespread mild to moderate rainfall or snowfall along with an occasional thunderstorm and lightning over Uttarakhand. Lightning and thunderstorms are probably present in scattered areas over Yanam and coastal Andhra Pradesh. Punjab may have some light rain. Regarding the weather in North-East India, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura have all been given a light rain alert.
