Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that several regions in India could experience rainfall in the upcoming days. Within the next 24 hours, there is a chance of rain and thundershowers over East India, while the western Himalayan region may experience rain and thundershowers until March 14. Additionally, the southern parts of India are expected to receive rainfall from March 15 to 17.
From March 13 to 18, the weather in the central, eastern, and southern regions of the country is expected to worsen. The temperature in the plains of North India may drop during this time. Regarding the capital city of Delhi, there is a chance of rain next week. A new Western Disturbance is approaching the Western Himalayan region, which could bring rainfall to Delhi as well. As per the IMD’s prediction, rain is likely to occur from March 14 to 16. The sky is also expected to remain cloudy throughout the week.
Delhi
IMD predicts the national capital to remain clear and sunny throughout the day. For today, the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees and the minimum will be 20 degrees.
Mumbai
The city and it suburbs will continue to experience surge in temperature. Some moderate cloud cover is likely over the region today. For today, the maximum temperature will be 37 degrees and minimum will be 27 degrees.
Chennai
Mild to moderate cover is forecast over Chennai. Though, the day will mostly remain pleasant. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees and minimum will be 25 degrees.
Kolkata
As per the latest weather update, Kolkata is predicted to remain mostly clear and experience a warm day. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 36 degrees and minimum will be 23 degrees.
